Winter Patriot commented on my "I give up" post with a link to his post Angels Weep. It is a take on Romans 13 that I've secretly held for a long time... Paul, you must be joking! Ah, I get it, say nice things about them and maybe they won't kill us... maybe that explains it after all, it makes better sense than most takes, at least for me...
I didn't make our local Tea Party , but it pulled hundreds of people as well... Tea, anyone? from Father Hollywood by Father Hollywood Like hundreds of thousands of other Americans, the Hollywoods enjoyed a tea party this past Wednesday. "Tea party" (wink wink). Hi Larry,
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled across your blog via a visit at Father Hollywood's. I have enjoyed browsing through your spot on the web.
I lived in Pleasanton for about 3 years around 1990, one of my children was born there. Recently I visited Pleasanton - wow! I could hardly recognize it! The traffic on Stanley road from Livermore was astonishing. Maybe it was a bad day...

Where the truth is found is somewhere in-between, I'm still working on it myself.
Best to you.
Greg,
ReplyDeleteThe Tri-Valley has been booming up until recently, especially Dublin!
About Romans 13, you are right of course. I just don't LIKE what Romans 13 seems to say and wish I could make it say something else, like maybe "Ignore the government."
