Round and round

I go around and around... or round and round... I hate Facebook, I love Facebook.  I'm Roman Catholic, I'm not Roman Catholic.  I'm taking public transportation, I'm driving.  I'm vegan, I'm paleo.  I'm going to post all the time on my blog instead of going to Facebook and reposting other people's stuff, what blog?

I'm on an endless spiral staircase... I look out on the same scene over and over from different levels but I am not really going anywhere... maybe it's more of an MC Escher sort of staircase...

I'm just a little kid...

I'm a cranky old man...

All at the same time...

I'm Russia as described by Churchill... a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma...

I am what Nomad said of Uhura... silly sexist 60's :-)

Capt. Kirk: [of Uhura] What d'you do to her?
Nomad: That unit is defective. Its thinking is chaotic. Absorbing it unsettled me.
Spock: That "unit" is a woman.
Nomad: A mass of conflicting impulses.

So deal with it.  :-)

  1. You may not like to hear this but you are pretty normal. At least in this particular family. As I've told you before, I will NOT be classified as a certain religion, I am CHRISTIAN. Period! As far as being paleo, gluten free, vegan, etc. YIKES! All the conflicting info out there is mind boggling. I think our best bet is to be a child of God and eat healthy and not foods that make us sick. Especially you with the gluten problem. I'm keep doing the same thing and keep coming back to just eating whole foods, not processed. Meat, vegetables, fruit. Probably considered mostly paleo but without ALL the silly restrictions. And of course something now and then that doesn't fit. Like ice cream. We just have to quit knocking ourselves how trying to figure it out. You sound just like me and I'm an old lady of 80. Kari has the same go around too. When will we ever learn?

Does Lora and Max want to go back to Messiah? I'm glad I find the church I attend to be a great place to worship, receive the eucharist and confess and be forgiven of sins and hear a good homily and have a good discussion class during Sunday School hour. Wish you lived here so we could attend church together like we used to do.

Just be yourself. That self is a wonderful, loving son, father, grandfather and brother. We love you and God loves you.

    1. Yes, Lora and Max want to go too. :-) Well, it may be normal for this family but it sure is frustrating at times :-)

    2. If you don't want to go there just let Lora take her kids and go. And yes, it is frustrating. Life is frustrating. But I prefer to leave it all in God's capable hands. He has my apt. and when it is time, I'll get it. Three weeks and two days. Are you ready for Kari & I?
