We are now officially living in Livermore California. This is a very nice town and we have a primo location in it from which we can walk pretty much anywhere. Today we are still in the process of unpacking our "stuff" that is sitting about in big piles in the apartment. A great deal of our "stuff" is still sitting in what is now officially "Mike's Garage" back in Pleasanton. We may end up needing a storage locker at one of the local storage places, at least for extra bikes and camping gear. Or maybe we could get rid of some "stuff." What I've learned from this move so far: 1. Going up to the 2nd floor via stairs more than 100 times in one day makes my legs tired. 2. We have way more "stuff" than we really need. 3. Cost estimates from movers mean exactly nothing.
I would boycott NBC, if I ever watched it that is. I actually never watch anything on the old line networks, NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX. Everything I watch is on the cable only stations... do they still broadcast over the air? Ah well, this story is about the fact that it seems NBC refused to air an ad put together by some Catholic outfit that features an embryo and all of the hardships it faced in early life ending up with the revelation that they were talking about Obama. Here is the ad , check it out and see how unoffensive it is. Like I said, if I watched them I'd quit now. :-/
